Synopsis:
It
didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be
the same.
Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.
Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

Review:
It
seems like hot, sexy MMA fighters are becoming a more frequent in the book
world, and believe me I am not complaining! I’m a HUGE Travis Maddox and
Remington “Riptide” Tate fan, so I am so excited to introduce you to Nico
Hunter. I even love his name!
So,
Worth the Fight is about an MMA
fighter falling in love with a lawyer, but what makes it different from other recent
and popular stories about fighters? There’s a different dynamic between Nico
and Elle, and it centers around some serious emotional damage. What I really
enjoyed about Nico and Elle’s relationship is that they connect so deeply, yet their
pasts are so complicated that they find themselves struggling more against
their experiences instead of giving in to each other.
Vi
Keeland does an amazing job of giving both Nico and Elle their own voices.
While the chapters alternate between their POVs, the reader can clearly tell
the difference between the narrators without the provided chapter headings.
Nico has the filthy mouth of a fighter while Elle has an eloquence about her
voice. She’s a lawyer, and Keeland makes sure that Elle’s voice is clearly
defined by her character.
I
strongly recommend Worth the Fight to
anyone who loves not only a good romance, but a romance with stakes. The
emotional investment in this book is thrilling, and you won’t be disappointed.

About the Author
Vi
Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free
time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world. She
is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while
styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently
while pretending to work. She is a
boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!
