Review:
This
book both broke and warmed my heart at the same time. I mean, Megan wakes up
one day to what can only be described as someone’s worst nightmare. The person
you love doesn’t remember you! There are so many ups and downs that I wanted to
cry most of the time, but there were plenty of heartwarming moments that made
smile and lots of laughs.
This
book strays from the common outline of a love story in that the characters aren’t
just meeting. Well, I guess in a way they are, but there is so much history
with this couple, and I got sucked in to not only what was happening in the
present, but what had happened in their past. And boy do Megan and Jason have a
past.
What Endures is truly a
magnificent journey through the heartache of love lost in an unconventional
way, and how finding your way back to that love is impossible. But just maybe, what
endures will lead to a new love. It really is a fabulous read, and I strongly recommend
it, especially if you are looking for a really good atypical love story.
About the Author
Katie Lee has had a lifelong love affair
with books. She fell in love with her first book in the second grade and hasn’t
looked back since. She first took up writing as a hobby, wanting to craft her
own magical adventures, and through the love and encouragement of family and
friends, decided to get serious about writing and share her stories with the
world.
She currently resides in Maryland in the United States. She works for the government during the day, and her spare time is devoted to writing.
