What would happen if you lost everything? If the people who were supposed to love you unconditionally were no longer there for you, how would your world change?

Madeleine Becker lost everything when her parents died when she was ten years old. Ripped from her home and everything that she has ever loved, she is forced to start all over again. The only way for her to move on is to build walls around her heart and keep everyone at a safe distance. Her logic: she can't get hurt if she doesn't fall in love.

That theory is blown to pieces when she meets Reid Connely during her freshman year at college. He is gorgeous and darkly mysterious. He understands Maddy's pain all too well, but sharing his pain would mean breaking down the walls he put up around his own heart. Conflicted between loving Maddy and hiding his dark past, Reid starts to reevaluate his world. Maddy's inner strength, snarky personality and breath taking beauty help Reid to make peace with his past.

Together they find out what happens when they let love in.

Review:
I’m slightly, ok totally, in love Reid even though I kind of want to punch him too. What can I say, I love a man that makes me crazy! Melissa Collins has done a fantastic job with the first installment in her LOVE series. She’s created two totally jacked up damaged characters that will capture your heart and have you rooting for them like a bunch of drunks at a college rivalry football game. (Think Alabama vs. Auburn *ahem. Roll Tide*) Sorry, tangent….

But really, you cannot help but pull for Reid and Maddy to make it. I personally can’t imagine experiencing the kinds of loss that both Reid and Maddy have, but Melissa has done such an amazing job making these characters real and believable and relatable. At times, they both made me want to knock them around, but their relationship is inspiring. The best part, it’s not perfect! I mean, come on. There wouldn’t be a story here if it was perfect, but Melissa has worked some magic. Their pasts cause them to both make some serious mistakes.

I cannot wait for Let Love Stay! Which will be here before you know it. In fact, come back on Saturday, June 15th for the Let Love Stay cover reveal! Grab your copy of Let Love In now so you can get to know this fabulous couple!
