Summary from Goodreads:
He's addicted to booze. She's addicted to sex...staying sober is only
half the battle.
No. More. Sex.
Those are the three words Lily Calloway fears the most. But Loren Hale is determined to be with Lily without enabling her dangerous compulsions. With their new living situation—sleeping in the same bed, for real, together—Lily has new battles. Like not jumping Lo’s bones every night. Not being consumed by sex and his body.
Loren plans to stay sober, to right all of his wrongs. So when someone threatens to expose Lily’s secret to her family and the public, he promises that he’ll do anything to protect her. But with old enemies surfacing, Lo has more at stake than his sobriety.
They will torment Lily until Lo breaks.
And his worst fear isn’t relapsing. He hears the end. He sees it. The one thing that could change everything. Just three words.
No. More. Us.

Review:
I am completely obsessed with this series! It just has a
completely different feel from any other book I’ve read. We’ve all read about
alcoholics before, but the fact that the alcoholic is involved with and
enabling a sex addict is a completely new concept for me. I read the first
book, Addicted to You, over the
summer for the blog tour and I was hooked. I was so excited for the next book,
because I had no clue how it could get any better, but I just knew it would.
Addicted
For Now has an added bonus too. It’s told from
both Lily and Loren Hale’s (Lo) POV. I always enjoy getting the guy’s perspective,
but what I like the most about getting inside Lo’s head is seeing the
motivation behind his actions. In book 1, we only see the surface of how he
feels, the show he puts on for everyone. Getting inside his head opened up a
whole new world of hurt and devotion, and let me just say that it is completely
eye-opening and just made me love him all the more. He’s seriously flawed, but
he knows it and while at times he has been selfish, he is also extremely
kind-hearted and caring.
And Lily is very much in need of kind-hearted and caring.
Her journey is possibly the most difficult one I could ever imagine. There are
some serious psychological motivations for her addiction, and we finally start
to see where her sex addiction stems from. It’s very enlightening. Her
relationship with Lo becomes inspiring, where in book 1 it was very depressing
and well, just plain bad on so many levels. Again, getting Lo’s POV really
opens things up.
Some themes from Ricochet
(book 1.5) are continued in Addicted For
Now, and I’ve become very fond of Ryke and Daisy and even Connor and Rose.
I’m looking forward to seeing where these two very different relationships go
in the future. Overall, I am so impressed with what the authors have done not
only with this story but with the topic. Sex addiction, especially female sex
addiction, is a very hush-hush topic. The authors have done an amazing job of
representing the reality of the addiction and its stigma. Hats off to both
ladies!
One thing to remember about this series is that it is
written for a mature audience. Not just adults, but mature adults. I do not
think it’s possible for a reader who lacks a certain measure of growth to grasp
the reality of the situations in these books. Yes, there is sex. A lot of it actually.
And yes, it is fiction; however, the message contained in these pages is
serious and noteworthy. I only recommend these books to people who can look at
the overall implications and message, not those with a limited, tunnel-vision
view of complex topics.

One of my fun addictions is Netflix. I love finding a series that I missed the first time around or that I need to get caught up on and watching multiple episodes back to back :)
